va-va-voom.
today's weather was beautiful, perfect for our half a day spent at ecp having our supposed PT. i couldn't help but allow the re-enaction of past times at east coast in my mind.
it wasn't hot or humid today. neither was it stormy, which i expected when i heard the weather forecast on Power98 when i got up. it was rather a drizzling morning, the kind whereby you'd feel the cool air brush against your skin like pillow feathers, and the sporadic pellets of raindrops that fall on your faces from the leaves atop, as your nikes thud along the concrete path. :) i wished singapore's weather was like that everyday, nevermind the splattering of muddy water on the backs of our legs that accompanied every other step.
it felt really good running, walking at times (blame our lousy stamina) with steph and david as the others whizzed past us on their bikes. cali and liz shared a bike, which was really cute hahah
i wanted to collect seashells but decided against it cos they were saying that they'll give out a reaally bad smell when you keep em. ): anyways, yiquan, anuaar, david steph and i talked bout the most random topics like, how many kids do you want to have?, wet dreams (?!), infertility (?!), yiquan's very generous grandma and icantrememberwhatelse. lol. then we walked to parkway (with veryveryy wobbly legs and veryveryy empty stomachs) and had japanese buffet for lunch! exercising had the wondrous effect of making us feel ultra fit and SKINNY, BUT THERE GOES MY DIET THAT I SO PROUDLY DECLARED TWO DAYS AGO. hahah cos we happily piled our plates with food. but i guess thats the whole idea of buffets. lol, and omg we laughed till i teared during lunch! GOOD OLE FUN :))
oh and, poor choony and zhenxiong downed a wasabi-filled durianpuff each. eeks.
and after which, we did some window shopping, spent a considerable amount of time looking at storybooks and finally decided to rest our aching legs at coffeebean while looking at Female's 50 Gorgeous People 2005. hahaha, one of whom i think is awfully HOT!! :D and then cali and i took an hour long bus ride to amk together, though it didn't feel that long cos we slept through most of it. we were so tuckered out we didn't bother how unglam we looked (i using my saints tshirt as a little blanket and leaning against the window, and cali sleeping very comfortably in her seat) hahaha
YAY i cant wait for my bangkok trip coming wed, im gonna search for those uniquely embellished tops with those pretttty beads and sequins that are priced ridiculously high almost everywhere here at home. :) oh and also, the nice and cheap bras that are apparently all over thailand, for the girls. HHAHA.
oh anyway, jus something random but quite useful- you can brighten your coloured clothes by adding a spoonful of salt to the wash water, how cool is that.
OKAY, OFF I GO! DVD TIMEEEE. thanks for everything today ya'll :)) IT WAS LOTSSSS OF FUN!
laugh, and the world laughs with you. besides, everyone looks gorgeous with a smile:) -Female
