t-ooh o o phive

some quiet reflection made me realize how severely unaccomplished i have been throughout this year. 2005 seemed to have whizzed past just like that!

first three months was perhaps the most carefree period in my life; not being the least bit bothered bout untidy IJ uniform (hahah, low belts&socks) or completing assignments. the only thing that could possibly stress us out then was where to go after school, and how to kill time during our few-hour-long breaks. haha

anyhow,
2005...
+ consisted of a surprisingly long list of first-times!
+ led me to meeting a whole lot of wonderful people
+ inspired the detonation of fire in becoming-somewhat-stagnant friendships
+ became closer to previously just hi-bye friends.
+ was the year my dearsister got engaged
+ was the only year with zero savings! ): [too much shopping, too much shopping!]
+ was the year i got dear Leo :)
+ was the first time i got two changes of phone within a span of 2 weeks
+ was a present-filled year :)
+ was yet another year i enjoyed nationals. (all that zest and pumping school spirit)
+ was my first year in house comm
+ was spent trying to diet, though it never really materialized
+ was the first time i reeeeally enjoy school's food :D (ij food always tasted horrid/had extra surprise ingredients in them)
+ was a beautiful year that flew by in the blink of an eye, although nothing particularly memorable happened and i didn't achieve anything whatsoever.
+ made me realize how wonderful being in an all-girls school is. damn I MISS IJ ): i even miss jo teo's signature run-about-with-long-wooden-ruler in the early mornings.

Christmas

this is by far my worst Christmas ever. i guess when you look forward to a certain occasion too much, the most unexpected things happen to ruin everything. the loss of the new phone already succeeded in getting me feeling like crap; the thought of not being able to be contacted/contact anyone/ not having almost anyone's numbers/losing a new phone was enough to take away whatever Christmas mood i had. this also got my dad unreasonably angry, and all he did was rub salt into the wound the whole of today. (he does it so well) and getting a mere 4 hours of sleep last night didn't particularly help either. i was so looking forward to post family christmas party (with adam), thinking it'd at least make my day better but a twist of events had to take place and now im back home blogging bout how sad and disappointing my christmasday is unfolding.

:(

hello everyone.. adam here. i'm blogging on mich's behalf.

mich has lost her handphone so she's uncontactable for now. she should get it back by monday.. yeap merry xmas!

Thursday, December 22, 2005

this is for you, mich.

hi. i'm adam, and i'll be your host for today. i'm not accustomed to public speaking so please excuse me if i sound stupid..

anyway, this entry is going to be about the owner of this blog, yours truly, michelle loh yuling.

i've known mich since i was sec 1 and yes, she was already very pretty then. like most guys, i was interested in her for a period of time when i was sec 2, but that didn't really work out. haha. and then we sorta stopped talking since then. mich then came to sajc during first 3months and was in bowling. however we never really talked and seldom even said hi to each other in school.

but alas, fate had other plans.. we bowled on the same lanes during nationals and we begun to talk more. and being the nice girl she is, i started falling for her again. but i knew if i was going chase her, it was gonna be really tough since she HAD a bad impression of me (who doesn't heh). also, i always had the impression that she would go for "goodboys", so to speak. i'm not saying i'm a bad boy, but i don't really think i'm a role model for youths.

so initially we began going out in groups. but after some time i plucked up the courage to ask her out. i was ecstatic when she said, yes. so we went out, and the more time i spent with her, the more i fell for her. yes, we've had our share of couple problems, and the past 7 months have been crazy, but i wouldn't want it any other way, for all of it has led up to what we have together now. a special relationship. one where we can laugh and do the silliest things together, or simply just look at each other and smile like idiots cause we feel so in love.

to conclude this dedication to michelle loh yuling, i'd just like to say that i really love her with all my heart, and noone on this earth could make me happier than she does. and the best thing is that she does it day, after day, after day :)

i am gonna stickwityou

Had training today; and for once, training didn't feel as aimless as it usually does:)
after which, lunched opposite Safra with adam, cali and reg. i swear hawker dishes beat restaurent food ANYTIMEEE. they're so much cheaper and yummier! and we don't get friendly aunties donning similar hairstyles (permed and veryvery fluffed up) with grocery trolleys smiling at you in restaurents, do we? and noone bothers bout dresscode or dining etiquette. now i say that's eating in comfort. :D so back to today; it was spent almost entirely shopping, not that im complaining of course, but now that im back home, my feet are screaming for a nice warm soak and massage. AAAAH

anyway, we saw a really cute PURPLE man today- he was clothed in a (tight) purple long- sleeved top, white shorts (tight ones too, mind you!), purple wooly socks, had on a pair of purple boots and a matching UMBRELLA! haha, i dont know if it was intentional, but his feminine galek-ing (spell?) got just about everyone's attention. lol.

adam pointed out that recently, i've been having the most sudden bursts of uncontrollable, laugh-nonstop moments! omg, the silliest things tickle me so much at those points of time, but after laughing for no less than five minutes, i realize that whatever i was laughing at really wasn't so amusing. how i entertain myself sometimes.

i've been busying myself during the past week or so (or longer) with Christmas shopping and gift-wrapping :) ive always felt DECEMBER's the one time of the year that almost approaches perfection. (not considering holiday homework) Some tell me how Christmas is too commercialized, and how people give for the sake of doing so but i insist it's one of the most apt occasions to show your love for the special people in your life. <3<3

btw i think there's a paedophile hidden in me expressing itself time and again. eeks!

TMR>>> i'll be meeting up with the IJ-SA lovelies! as well as shopping with reg, and dinner with the IJbowlers. i foresee a smashing smashinggg time.:D

okay, that's all for now:)
all my love!

dance to the mooziq

yesterday turned out unbelievably (and unexpectedly) well :) went to Grand Copthorne with a humongous bag and spent some time there. got utterly embarrassed when we had to wait in the lobby in clubbing gear, and WHITE BEDROOM SLIPPERS. hahaha then grabbed a bite at taka, and headed down to Indo. met a WHOLEE LOT of people from school there, even the least expected ones!

(vic/reg, we didn't take any together!:/)

the night ended wonderfully :) no, that's an understatement.

Sunday, December 04, 2005

so adam and i intended to work on the intimidating heap of untouched holiday assignments yesterday, but ended up walking around holland v. had the worst chicken salad ever at Breko that smelt uncannily like melted plastic, and tasted like cough mixture. but nevermind that, the place was really nice, the company too. i felt like i could stay there forever. it's dimly lit in its interior, and has this warm, cosy feel. I LIKEEEEE! the alfresco area's damn nice too, very ideal for people-watching:)

so anyway, we realized we couldn't get much work done( as always ): ) so we went (window) grocery-shopping :) i love shopping in supermarkets for some reason. and LOOK AT WHAT WE FOUND!

it was a beautiful day all in all.

today was spent almost entirely at home, was supposed to be out with the girls but couldn't cos of a church musical at night. had a very fattening (Swensens) dinner with the parents and Nelvy :) i swear the frozen yoghurt leaves you craving for more. :9

the musical was okay, i enjoyed the kids choir bit the most.:) they've got the most angelic voices ever! i fell in love with this particular little caucasian girl, she has the softest blonde curls that were tied in two ponytails, secured with pretty blue ribbons that matched her eyes. she pursed her lips and swung left to right everytime a song ended. (everyone, go awwwww) hahah but i guess they aren't so adorable anymore when they run and scream, playing catching.

on a more exciting note, I CANNOT WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS!!! :)

the IJ-SA girls: i miss you guys :( lets meet up soon for a christmas gift exchange! :D

serene: happy birthday once again sweets! im so sorry i was late! i ought to get slapped! haha hope you had a wonderful time:) love you!

you're my inspiration

my life has been an interesting conconction of events of late. and my weak immune system got me sick. yes, AGAIN! ): after the fever subsided, i had a damn bad tummy, i couldn't down any food (what torture!!!). after the bad tummy passed, i had an awful sore throat, and lost my voice. that was as horrid cos I HAD TO GIVE ALL THE GOODFOOD A MISS AT THE CHALET! liz's cakes, the barbequed food, chips and whathaveyou. hahaha, the sole consolation of this- the diet can work now.

anyhow, i had good ole fun with the bowlers:) :)

the first night was particularly fun-filled (and memorable :)) and we laughed like mad market aunties! HAHA :)

so anyway, we told ghost-stories, got scared by the boys who climbed behind the windows and by alex who popped out of the cupboard, screamed every time the door opened and every time someone drew the curtains open, huddled with one another on a tiny bed, slept together like sardines on that same bed, posed like silly primary school kids and took a whole lot of photos, got caught by strangers in the process and burst into fits of giggles, had late-night walks in the baby pool, had heart-to-heart girl talks on matters of the heart, walked around the club and got offered food by kind aunties, played Truth or Dare (and Truth or Truth) and Continue the Story, gambled, went grocery shopping with mommy and adam, stole balloons, watched three-quarters of The Perfect Man, looked at pretty stars that dotted the night sky like sprinkles of glitter, received a pretty yellow flower, got reminded throughout to take my temperature:), eased a blueblack for someone(hahah), brushed teeth together (and counted the number of brush strokes like the pri school days, hahaha) and had breakfast near alex's place. anyway, david! you (and vic) did a greatgreat job for the chalet, all of us had quite a blast, so dont stress too much! haha :)

went to taka to get medicine for my throat, and to buy the entire set of Loreal WhitePerfect. and finally headed back to HOMESWEETHOME:) for the much needed sleep. :)
