A long long updateeee

daddy and mommy

us without the sister

Chinese New Year felt different this year. I accrue it to every day feeling like a holiday, unlike the past years with cny being right smack in the middle of the first school term so then, cny felt like a happy break from school. But no longerrrrr. I like open-houses the most, they're the most fun and I get the most red packets. I l0ve how the house is filled with so much activity (all the shuffling of mahjong tiles) and ongoing conversations about your daughter and my son yada yada. We had our usual 3 tables of MJ and 1 for the card players. &&&! My luck has been reaaaaaally good, like reallllllly omgicantbelieveit kinda good, ive won a fair bit so far & there will be 2 more gambling sessions to go! heh heh. I need to save some luck for Friday though, cause that’s (officially) when results will be out. I’ve been hearing so much of “Mich I think results are coming out this week” but they have always turned out to be false alarms. Now, it’s comfirmed-plus-chop since it’s stated boldly & clearly at the SEAB website. I was wondering what SEAB stood for when I woke up to Shawn’s text message, like South East Asia-Something? Sometimes I think I belong in a kampong and rear cows(?) & chickens. But I googled it and found out it’s Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board so yeah it’s this Friday for real. I’m damn excited. Okay who am I kidding, I’m worried as hell especially after that awful nightmare a few days back. I hope part of Dumdum’s dream will come true but I thought to myself today, what audacity to harbour hope for good grades when I almost gave up halfway? :(

Anyways I’ve been seeing so many babies this cny and I especially adore my cousin’s daughter (I refuse to be called Aunty Michelle)- omgz she has the hugest and clearest peepers and her baby-doll prettiness makes me wanna squish her! HHAHA And there's this other cousin who is so humsum, he's gonna be an absolutely scrumptious looking aunty-killer when he grows up. I can’t wait to have my own babies, I prefer girls cause it'll be so fun to tie their hair and dress em in frocks with the big balloony skirts & cute puffy sleeves. How exciting can playing with tiny Ferraris and Lamborghinis, & noisy choochootrains be right. Hahaha

Posing with.. the red car.

I bought a squash racket+ball today & I couldn’t wait to play, literally. So I took down the painting in my sister’s room and played there. Hahah I’m starting to quite like squash though I’m still a lousy lousy noob. Squash over tennis anytime cause the ball always ricochets off the wall so that makes it a whole lot easier and we look less loser-ish, unlike tennis whereby half the time is spent picking up balls we miss.

I think housewifey-ness is slowly weaving into the fabric of my daily life; I’ve been quite the domesticated girl for most of the past few days, like I’d rather stay home and do nothing rather than go out. I've even become unforgiving of clutter and I like mopping the floor and polishing the car. Ee how mumsy.

Oh & a highlight! Daddy gave me driving lessons at our estate recently, & even though I’m slightly embarrassed bout how my hands got ice-cold & I kept laughing out of fear, no major accidents except for an (alarming) knock against the curb. J Yay hooray I'm mightily proud of myself & I can’t wait to take all my tests now. Maybe it’s that sexy masculinity that female drivers have that drives (pun intended) me. HA HA okaaaay bye all <3
