back home :)

the bangkok trip was amazing, the weather was pretty pleasant. and we shopped till we dropped. we went with 2 bags, and came back with 5! hahah had the most wonderful buys, and am reaaally pleased with them all. haha oh, and the food!!! omg, cheap and VERYVERY yummy. :) :)

bangkok must be really popular among singaporeans cos i met a few saints over there; rayner stayed in the same hotel! haha went for foot reflexology on the first night, and thai massage on the second. both tickled me so much, i couldnt help but burst out laughing when they touched the sensitive spots. anyway, i found the thais surprisingly friendly, and they speak in a really cute sing-song manner. after so much of interaction with them (bargaining in particular) all of us unknowingly acquired that way of speaking ourselves. hahah and almost all of them have got very lovely big and deep-set eyes. but the thai men are apparently FREAKIN cheeko. (spell?) ugh.

but now, ive got a horrible fever. my temperature was quite high last night- 39.2 degrees, eeks. and there's a house comm farewell as well as a bowling chalet later. i hope the fever goes away soon. ):

anyways, ill put up the bangkok pictures soon!

tired

a summary of today:

had a friendly with RJ/AC. bowled horrrribly but SA still got first. :) it was really odd (i don't know what other word to use) seeing you, and not exchanging even a hello or goodbye or even the slightest smile. i don't know why but that got me very bothered. ): after the traditional taking of photos after prize giving, we went for lunch, did some shopping (and tried on lots of on-sale clothes at Topshop) :D, indulged in very sinful icecream&waffles at Gelare, got a call from Ben&Jerry's asking if i still want the job, and watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose at night.

it's by far the first horror movie that requires such intense concentration and listening. hahah it's no wonder yq dozed off. a pretty bad horror flick all in all.

AND GUESS WHAT!!!! im only leaving on THURS NIGHT. ): ): ): can you sense my disappointment already!?! ): ):

oh but on a happier note, we'll be seeing some of the sec four jnrs tomorrow, hope they'll be a lovely bunch. :)

va-va-voom.

today's weather was beautiful, perfect for our half a day spent at ecp having our supposed PT. i couldn't help but allow the re-enaction of past times at east coast in my mind.

it wasn't hot or humid today. neither was it stormy, which i expected when i heard the weather forecast on Power98 when i got up. it was rather a drizzling morning, the kind whereby you'd feel the cool air brush against your skin like pillow feathers, and the sporadic pellets of raindrops that fall on your faces from the leaves atop, as your nikes thud along the concrete path. :) i wished singapore's weather was like that everyday, nevermind the splattering of muddy water on the backs of our legs that accompanied every other step.

it felt really good running, walking at times (blame our lousy stamina) with steph and david as the others whizzed past us on their bikes. cali and liz shared a bike, which was really cute hahah

i wanted to collect seashells but decided against it cos they were saying that they'll give out a reaally bad smell when you keep em. ): anyways, yiquan, anuaar, david steph and i talked bout the most random topics like, how many kids do you want to have?, wet dreams (?!), infertility (?!), yiquan's very generous grandma and icantrememberwhatelse. lol. then we walked to parkway (with veryveryy wobbly legs and veryveryy empty stomachs) and had japanese buffet for lunch! exercising had the wondrous effect of making us feel ultra fit and SKINNY, BUT THERE GOES MY DIET THAT I SO PROUDLY DECLARED TWO DAYS AGO. hahah cos we happily piled our plates with food. but i guess thats the whole idea of buffets. lol, and omg we laughed till i teared during lunch! GOOD OLE FUN :))

oh and, poor choony and zhenxiong downed a wasabi-filled durianpuff each. eeks.

and after which, we did some window shopping, spent a considerable amount of time looking at storybooks and finally decided to rest our aching legs at coffeebean while looking at Female's 50 Gorgeous People 2005. hahaha, one of whom i think is awfully HOT!! :D and then cali and i took an hour long bus ride to amk together, though it didn't feel that long cos we slept through most of it. we were so tuckered out we didn't bother how unglam we looked (i using my saints tshirt as a little blanket and leaning against the window, and cali sleeping very comfortably in her seat) hahaha

YAY i cant wait for my bangkok trip coming wed, im gonna search for those uniquely embellished tops with those pretttty beads and sequins that are priced ridiculously high almost everywhere here at home. :) oh and also, the nice and cheap bras that are apparently all over thailand, for the girls. HHAHA.

oh anyway, jus something random but quite useful- you can brighten your coloured clothes by adding a spoonful of salt to the wash water, how cool is that.

OKAY, OFF I GO! DVD TIMEEEE. thanks for everything today ya'll :)) IT WAS LOTSSSS OF FUN!

laugh, and the world laughs with you. besides, everyone looks gorgeous with a smile:) -Female

so oddly familiar, yet at the same time, so distant and incomprehensible.

i realized i've been posting A LOT! hahah the idea of having a blog must really excite me. anyhow, anuaar, david, steph, reg and i went out today : ) alexius joined us during dinner at swensens, followed by nic(ola). btw, just a random note, i am very proud to declare that my diet plans have finally begun to materialize. HOHOHO. i had a huge chef salad for dinner (which i took forever to finish)

hahaha my mommy says to keep 'em for XMAS/CNY, but ive never been able to do that. oh and steph and i got ourselves matching tops which we plan to wear together, someday :) so after everyone left, i waited alone at DFS for my parents to pick me up (they were out pak-toh-ing, haha how sweet :) ) and some annoying people decided to disturb me as i was reading my book. growl.

now, im back at home and i'll end off with a few shots we took today :)

RUN RUN RUN,

FOURTH DEC, DARLINGS!:) hahah

now say goodbye.

it's such an ungodly hour to be blogging at. and i haven't had a wink of sleep the whole night. had the most unforgettable, tear-jerking, and one of the longest conversations ever. it lasted for a whopping seven hours or so. it's our last one; now that we've kissed goodbye.

anyway 12 of us caught harrypotter yesterday, it was okay though i was a tad lost at some parts. i personally thought it was not as good as expected. cool thing was it had the feel of a horror movie at some parts; i remember getting shocked momentarily. btw, the girls all think that cedric guy is quite a good looker. hahah too bad he had to die! OH and i overheard a buncha sec school girls squealing in the ladies that this is their fave potter movie cos the actors are so cuuuuuteee hahah sounds exactly like us in OUR sec school days, when we indulged in all the silly girly talk punctuated by a million giggles. mm, come to think of it, we still indulge in the same kind of silly girly talk sometimes. :)

so after the movie, two of the boys went off, leaving the MBgang, steph, david, jan, anuaar, chelsea and myself. bumped into alex ( who had pink/red highlights all over, very gothic toe nails and had on a pair of bright red trackpants) and girlfriend. upon much dilly dallying and standing around like we always do, we finally got our asses down to paragon, coffeebean! so we gathered a few tables and sat around playing the all-time-fave TRUTH OR DARE. HAHA. OMG, i think i've got cheek muscles (and hopefully the abs will start to show too) after laughing so much. but zhenxiong and david were reaaaally sporting. haha good job, you two. ;) you've got to be there to understand how tickling they were.

okay im gonna catch some shuteye now. sigh training later. at least i get to see the girls. and see cali's newly rebonded hair too. :)

my virgin post : )

hello world :) influenced by all that blogging rage, i decided to have a blog myself. :) partly also because i've been having too much on my mind of late and i thought it'd be good to have an outlet to rant and rave. anyhow i have come to a conclusion that i am hopelessly html illiterate :/ oh and i ought to say a BIG THANKYOU to andrew who helped me with this last night. so, THANKYOU!

i spent an hour or so friendster-surfing yesterday when i was stuck at home due to the horrible flu bug that has been going around. (i think i passed it to reg cos the poor girl's running a fever now. please take lots of care okay) anyway that one hour got me rather amused as i realized that announcing to the world on one's profile that he/she is absolutely against the use of so-called ahlian lingo (meaning the addition of the Xs and Zs or both (!) to the end of every other word) is becoming the HIP THING TO DO. hahah i think that's fine, but what bemuses me more is that these people then type their testimonials to friends in that manner and end of with an exclamation that goes something like- "youve no clue how difficult that was to type!" this is not targetted at anyone in particular in case youre wondering.

.
.
.
.
anyhow, we had a short vice capts meeting at harbour front macs yesterday morning and lovely jien bought us really pretty flowers :) i know of so many people, males actually (like my daddy) who insist that flowers are the most useless gifts because they wither in a matter of days and you dump them away! i actually think flowers can do wonders, like make the receiver all happy and smiley. so i always make it a point to dry and keep 'em :)

mm, i just checked my phone calendar and i realized how birthday-filled november is. reg's was on monday, choony's today and my sister's tomorrow! so HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALL OF YOU! love!

Bittersweet;Back At One

It's undeniable, that we should be together
It's unbelievable, how I used to say that I'd fall never
It's basis you need to know you know just how I feel
And let me show you now that I'm for real
If all things in time, time will reveal

One: you're like a dream come true
Two: just wanna be with you
Three: girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me and
Four: repeat steps 1 thru 3
Five: make you fall in love with me
If ever I believe my work is done
Then I start back at one

It's so incredible the way things work themselves out
And unemotional once you know what it's all about
And undesirable for us to be apart
I never would have made it very far
'Cause you know you hold the keys to me heart 'cause

One: you're like a dream come true
Two: just wanna be with you
Three: girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me and
Four: repeat steps 1 thru 3
Five: make you fall in love with me
If ever I believe my work is done
Then I start back at one

Say farewell to the darkened night
I see the coming of the sun
I feel like a little child whose life has just begun
You came and breathed new life
Into this lonely heart of mine
You threw out the lifeline just in the nick of time

One: you're like a dream come true
Two: just wanna be with you
Three: girl, it's plain to see that you're the only one for me and
Four: repeat steps 1 thru 3
Five: make you fall in love with me
If ever I believe my work is done
Then I start back at one
